About

The new Bruuns Bazaar is a testament to iconic fashion, classic and sexy with a grown up sensibility that are both streamlined and essential. Rather than being too arty or conceptual it is fashion as it’s really lived with collections that are direct and focused, simple, flattering and attainable. Focusing on modern day wear with luxurious sporty elements, men’s wear influenced tailoring, easy separates and reduced evening wear. The collections are the essence of what modern style obsessed men and women wants, with the inner workings being just as important as the outer appearance.

Copenhagen – STINE GOYA
9:39 am - 05/08/2011, Tags:

At Stine Goya, the models were wearing wigs that made them look like Stine herself. Sort of like Sonia Rykiel’s 40th anniversary show. Funny!

Above you’ll see my favorite looks from the show. See the rest of the collection HERE.

Roligt!

Ovan ser du mina favoriter från visningen. Se resten av kollektionen HÄR.

Copenhagen – VERONICA B. VALLENES

Our Norwegian friend Veronica B. Vallenes showed us yet another collection composed by her most significant trademarks. That is to say plenty of pastel colours interfered by greyscales, draped silhouettes, silk garments and jewelry made of straws produced in collaboration with Danish Bjørg. Describing the as a whole it was very feminine, easy worn and casual. It had a certain playfulness, often seen among other Scandinavian, mostly Danish designers. The four last looks and the jewelry line, unlike the rest of the collection, remained on a rather high fashion level, with innovative materials executed in an interesting way. Non-crafted mustn’t necessary mean bad or boring, but it would be interesting to see her taking it to the next level Perhaps that is too much to ask so early in her career. Instead we got a summary of what’s closest to her heart. Nothing more, nothing less.

See the rest of the collection HERE.

Copenhagen – Schedule
11:48 am - 03/08/2011, Tags: , ,

Copenhagen Fashion Weeks comenced today and the schedule is packed with shows. I have circled the ones I’m looking forward to the most but I do however miss some designers such as Vilsbøl de Arce and Barbara i Gongini. Minimarket will show both in Copenhagen and Stockholm next week. Let the fashion weeks begin!

Get the most recent updates on their website or on the Facebook page.
