If you want to sit front row at Alexander Wang, but is situated in the wrong city, in the wrong country even. Then you’re able to watch the show live, which will be streamed from Wang’s website at 5pm New York Time. (Note the time differencies).

Elin Kling and other important people in the business were permitted to see the collection in advance. See below. Will his muse, Amyline Valade (nedan) open/close the show tonight perhaps?

Om du vill sitta på första parkett på Alexander Wangs visning idag men befinner dig helt enkelt i fel stad, i fel land, kan du ändå se visningen. Live. Den kommer att streamas från Wangs hemsida klockan 23.00 (svensk tid).

Fashion Weeks 2011 – Stockholm – V Ave Shoe Repair from Fashion Networks on Vimeo.

Last week during Stockholm Fashion Week, we documented the shows not only in pictures but as video codec as well. One show to be recorded was V Ave Shoe Repair. The best show, by far, according to me. To see the show in motion gives you the possibility to see all angels of the amazing, three dimensional sculptures of wood and organza. You understand the creation’s structure and how it is shaped, a lot better than from watching it from a flat 2D perspective (picture). Besides, when will it be a requirement to have videocameras at fashion shows, not to mention pictures of both front and back of the look?

Anyway, the video itself it very pretty and, if my whole explanation wasn’t very convincing, should be seen. Hope you like it.

Under Stockholms modevecka förra veckan dokumernterade vi inte visningarna bara i bilder utan också i videoformat. En visning som spelades in var V Ave Shoe Repair. Den helt klart bästa visningen, enligt mig. Här får du möjlighet att samtliga vinklar av de fantastiska, tredimensionella skulpturerna av trä och organza. Vilket också gör det lättare att förstå dess funktion och konstruktion, än att se dem från ett platt 2D perspektiv (bild). När kommer film bli ett krav på modevisningar, inte tala om visningsbilder av både fram och baksida förresten?

Videon själv är för övrigt väldigt fin och, ifall förklaringen inte var särskilt övertygande, borde ses. Hoppas ni tycker om den.

Modeveckan är i full rulle och Max Factor är självfallet med och dokumenterar. I första avsnittet får vi se Tomas Lenneryd förvandla modellerna till Cleopatra-liknande väsen på Minimarkets visning. Emilia de Poret intervjuar våra stora svenska modeprofiler såsom; Martina Bonnier, Elin Kling, Jonna Bergh & Marcela Mravec. Vi ser också många internationella gäster på Berns, Susie Bubble (StyleBubble), Andy Torres (Style Scrapbook) & Maiken Winther från COSTUME DK. Vi också reda på hur Bea Åkerlund försöker, så ofta hon kan, styla amerikanska kändisar i svenska märken. Karin Smeds och Robert Rydberg ger oss deras bästa “fashionpose”. Vi väntar spänt på nästa avsnitt.
