Back in January, Ann-Sofie Back showed the collection of her diffusion line BACK during Stockholm fashion week. The collection of her main line was based upon the same idea of functional workwear, although exaggerated into much larger proportions because of an increased amount of creative freedom. First of all, the shapes were bigger and the mix of materials were more unconventional but it was primarily the thought out detailing and craftsmanship that would be differing the most. Black and yellow tape seen at construction sites was a recurring detail, both explicitly seen in the garments as well as posing as inspiration for the colour scheme of a shearling jacket or the sequins of a dress. There were visible stitches obviousl and geometric compositions of different fabrics from fur to down that would altogether make perhaps the most unflattering clothing interesting.
